hi, I'm Alena...


As a photographer with over 20 years of experience, I have worked in almost every genre you can imagine…from live music to newborns, weddings to products, and everything in between. 


But nothing lights me up quite like the feeling of seeing a woman’s confidence bloom right before my eyes during their session. Every client of mine comes into the studio, shy, nervous, and quiet. But at some point, that magical moment happens… the spark. It’s truly my favorite thing to witness. They start enjoying themselves. They begin to feel confident, powerful even. They leave with that spring in their step, empowered, and comfortable in their skin… and I know I’ve done my job. 


Providing my clients with beautiful portraits and artwork of themselves is just the cherry on top. Seeing them tear up and ask, “Is that really me?” — being able to say, “Yes, it is!”…is an indescribable feeling and the reason I do what I do. I believe very passionately that every woman deserves to see themselves in this way…including you.

  • Born in Upstate New York, Raised in Tampa Bay, Florida.
  • Seattleite since 2015.
  • Collector of tattoos and all the hair colors.
  • My birthday is April 15th (Yes, I'm a tax day baby.)
  • I met my husband, Lucas, in college for photography. We've been together for 17 years and married 3!
  • Huge Dog Lover- unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our soul dog, Dexter, in 2025. Our hearts are forever broken, but we're so thankful for the 14 years he gave us.
  • My biggest inspiration is my grandmother, Diana. She was a bad-ass business owner, who taught motorcycle safety training and how to drive big rigs. That's her portrait tattooed on my arm. She gave me my first camera, and taught me women can do anything!
